-Background story: We wanted to get back to our origins with this design. We haven’t done a spinoff of another brand in a long time. Since Juneteenth is approaching, we believe that it would be a perfect time to switch it up. Last year’s design was all about the history of Juneteenth. This year we took a different approach. We used Grateful Dead as a catalyst to convey our message, which states “As a race our future is encouraging”. We used the subliminal messages to hammer in our message. For example, the airplane that's flying displaying the "FREEDOM" sign. Even the character holding the sign alongside the road saying "WE OUTSIDE." This shirt is for the growth, the manifestation, the impact, the love. What’s America without black America?
