From seeing their peers in the hood, and celebrities on social media in the hottest fashion they took matters into their own hands to keep up with the latest trends. Weighing out all the options possible, they decided to hustle. Knowing this would be an easy way to get exactly what they wanted. The pair ditched school to make a sale and to their wildest surprise the police caught them lacking. Never in the officers wildest dreams did they expect to see drugs in their backpacks, because they knew them personally. That was the day those young men’s lives changed, and began a downward spiral. Chris and Darren lost the opportunity to be kids after that day. They were officially profiled and apart of a system that doesn’t give our black men a second chance at life.
